Leading with patched bullets doesn't have as much to do with case length as it does other stuff.
1. Instead of expanding your cases after resizing , just seat your patched bullet.
2, If you patched those bullets to short from the ogive you can get into some leading troubles.
3 Be sure to chamfer the inside of the case mouths so there's nothing to snag the paper going in or out.

I really like your GG bullet. It will be an out standing hunting design. On the PP case I see the ring of paper around the case mouth, but are those paper fibers stuck to the case wall inside the mouth? If so, rubbing bullet lube into the patch and wiping off the excess should help prevent patch stripping. Also, the lube also helps protect the patch from moisture. I always wrap my patches so that the rotation of the bullet will unwrap the patch, just incase. You are definitly on your way to out standing hunting loads.
