Great story Pete! There is so much dedication put forth to achieve accuracy in primitive bows! I shot some where around 250 days from last years bow season to this years, all for not, I didn't even pull my bow back on a animal! I applaud his dedication and his accuracy when it counted! Thanks again Pete.

Stephen;
You're welcome. It is a great story. Yea that's a lot of work on both his and your part. I know you got an elk last year and maybe next year you'll have better luck. I didn't get a shot either with the Sharps but that's becoming the norm for me. How did the your antelope season go?

It didn't go worth a sheets! Had to work last weekend so didn't get to go for the closer! I'm not use to this non-killing hunting streak I'm on this year! It's one thing to screw up or miss a shot but to not even have an opportunity to harvest really stinks! I'm heading out for mule deer in Saturday if work doesn't get into the way! Hoping to get some meat, my four boys are craving steak!

I was going to school at Colorado School Trades in 78-79. In Sept of 79. A bow hunter killed a Grizzle bear. Try this website for the story.
