A good one

Post by Kipp »

We just finished up the deer hunt last week. After nine days out in the mountains and some good ridin we were able to get a couple good bucks. My cousin shot his buck early in the morning. That left plenty on time for pictures. My buck was killed in the evening, I was alone and by the time I found help to load the deer on the horse it was well after dark. That little mare does a good job.

I love campin out in the mountains and I hate being so damn cold at night. So I've had my wall tents for quite a while. One of my best friends on the trip was my wood stove. I still have not connected on my elk. I'll go back out around thanksgiving. It's possible my sharps could be done and in my hands. That would be a great way to break it in.

Nice buck! What kind of wood stove are you using. I too have become allergic to cold at night. - Mike
