No, in Nebraska. The outfitter is probably closing this year so no more hunts there. I might be looking for a new place for Buff hunts too. :(

Looked like this:

Thanks Gussy, I had a very good buffalo hunting spot by Fishtrap lake outside of Spokane but they lost the lease to the hunting area when the B.L.M. bought the ground. The neighbor has buffalo "hunts" but they are just corral shoots. Enjoy the fine eating on your buff. Take care, Duane

Yes, I think a friend got one up there. This might be my last Buff. Maybe Rick will put a rough collar on one of his Angus for me??

I just shot mine at Comstock Lodge in Sargent, Nebraska. They advertise meat buffaloes but they have a few trophies too. The herd is 60-70 on a 4000 acre spread with open areas, rolling hills and junipers -very near the sandhills. The food and accommodations were great, the people were great, and we were the only buffalo hunters there. One other deer archery hunter - no factor. It was a "wife quality" place and mine really enjoyed it. They can cut and wrap it quickly and I shot some pheasants while we waited for the buffalo meat to freeze. I have been looking at Rockin 7 in Wyoming when we eat this one up.
