Nice work on a handsome buck! Such white antlers. That's a fair piece for a shot.

Well to answer your question Top Dog, he would have been close to 220 lbs live weight. Our scale is in need of maintenance otherwise I could give you a concrete answer. To answer your second question he was close to 280 yards away.

He looked like 200+ lbs. 280 yards? Gosh that was a great shot!!!
I have a state forest near me which is probably the best kept secret in the state.

A couple of years ago,an archer harvested a 305 lb whitetail buck. You haul that out of the woods and it is uphill both ways!!!

Nice ! Is that a rubber band on the front sight to hold the aperture in place?

Very nice deer!!!!

By the way, get a thin "O" ring to go over the sight to keep the "door closed". Looks good and works well.
