Butte Schuetzen match April 13-14, 2013

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

Butte Schuetzen match April 13-14, 2013

Post by Ted Tompkins »

21 degrees in the morning, winds gusting to 45 mph during the day Saturday. Targets ripping off and blowing up the hill. (Butch was able to save them all!)

Sunday was a little less windy, it was only blowing about 25-30 mph with snow off and on all day.

It was 25 shots per target, 50 shots per day, no sighter targets. 100 shots total.

Ted,

I see Spring has finally arrived in Montana. :D You guys must be thankful to be able to finally dig out of your cabins. Good shootin.

Ted,

Mighty fine score in tough conditions. Did you cook some Kilbassa to keep yourselves warm?

Woody,
Yes spring has come to Montana. It is blowing about 30 MPH here at home today. (We are not on the windy side of the state either). The forecast for the silhouette match in Missoula is for more of the same this weekend. It might even snow on us.

Klaus,

We did cook Kilbassa on the wood stove. It is about the only thing Butch will let us do. He won't even let us drink beer while we are shooting. I thought this was supposed to be a Schuetzen match.

We missed you. We were hoping you might be able to come up since this was a 2 day match. I guess we can't make all of the matches so we will just have to make all we can.

Take care guys,
Ted
