Golden Gun Club BPCR Silhouette Match 6-1-2013 .....6-12-2013


If it was not for the calendar letting us know it was the June BPCR match we would have thought it was still March! The weather was dark, cool and a bit windy but 17 of us came to shoot!

Sorry about the slow match report in May and June. We have been moving and without the internet and just now got it back.

I want to say a fair well to Doug Gray and thanks for all the help you gave the match!
Doug Gray shot his last day with us and is on the road seeing America. Good luck Doug!



We fielded 8 scoped rifles and 9 iron rifles for a total of 17 competitors.

In Scope class Klaus Schattleitner won with a strong score of 25 with Jason spotting the tough wind changes. Jeff Woodring won the High-half by an exciting coin flip with Michael Jackson, both shooting a scope of16.

In Iron sight class, Jack Odor won by reverse animal count with a score of 24. You can tell the weather was poor because we did not want to have shoot-offs.
Our AA 1st Place Winner with a score of 15 is Pierce Pritchett
Row pins were almost none except for a 10-in a-row Pig by Doug Gray and Klaus.

NO Match in July due to the NRA National held the same time. Next match is in August.
