Cheyenne Rifle and Pistol Club Spring 22 BPCR match

Here are the results of the Cheyenne Rifle and Pistol Club Spring 2 Day Match. Saturday began with no wind and picked up a bit in the afternoon but a very nice day to shoot. Sunday was cool, windy and threatening rain. No rain but the wind did blow from over our right shoulder for part of the day and then switched to straight right to left, mostly after noon. The shooters overcame the wind and still posted nice scores. Michael Jackson is still the person to beat. Nice shooting Michael. Michael Rix is new to the game and will be major factor at future matches also. Many thanks to all the folks who came to shoot especially Jen Oliva who dove for 12 hours to get to Cheyenne as did two shooters from Eastern South Dakota. Several Wyoming shooters, Cody Smith and Kenny Wasserburger drove long distances for the match as did several of the Colorado shooters who were well represented also. Good tune up for Nationals. Our next one day match is June 8th and entries are already coming in for the Wyoming State Championships on August 8-10, 2014. This will be a 120 shot two day championship.
