Great Lakes Regional

The 2014 Great Lakes Regional is history. It was 3 days of shooting in tricky conditions. The weather was fantastic with daytime highs in the high 70's, but with quickly shifting winds that kept everyone wondering why they had missed. There were daily awards, two day agg awards and 3 day agg awards. We were treated to a pulled pork dinner on Sat eve. There were 21 iron sight shooters and 24 scope shooters. There were 6 pairs of husband/wife shooters and in each case the wife won. Be careful if your wife wants to learn to shoot, she may just show you up.

I only know the top winners at this time but I'll post more later.

Iron sight winner was Cliff Gregg from Wisconsin with a score of 87. He won in a shoot-off with Greg Vest from Michigan, also with an 87. Third was Mark Schuenke from Wisconsin with an 85.

The scope winner was Dave Gubert(sp) with a 79. Second was Jodi Decker with a 77 and third went to Dave Emmett with a 74.
