2016 SO YOU WANNA SHOOT LONG RANGE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

2016 SO YOU WANNA SHOOT LONG RANGE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Post by Shadow 4 » Mon Jul 04, 2016 2:30 am

First of all I'd like to thank everyone for their patience & understanding on getting scores posted, the rest of you, not so much.

I've had better, more important things to do.

That night (Saturday night of Big Hill) and the next 5 days were 12 to 14 hrs days picking up schrapnel, the weeks since then, it seems to have gotten worse, longer days

Never seen such destruction, debris scattered. Right now, after bending over & picking up so much stuff, I wouldn't bend over to pickup a $100 bill
It was equal to the strongest tornado ever recorded in the state of Montana........EF3 (that's what they said)

I would like to thank Dale & Brenda for moving us down to the ranch house & having the potluck in that nice shop, to much good food that night.

This is the handmade saddle my late father made me when I was a sophmore in hign school (1980)
I Found it over 2 1/2 blocks away, sitting up, just like you'd unsaddled, waiting for me to come pick him up. Another 50 yds, it would've been in the lake with everything else.

After things settled down that evening it was time to pickup the scattered saddles and misc tack. When I realized that 5 of my saddles were accounted for but the sixth one was missing, I was overwhelmed & distraught, consoling me wasn't working, it was gone & we lost dad over 4 years ago, he can't make me a new one, I lost my ever loving mind............till I found it
Looks like you drug it for a mile behind a pickup, in a wet summer fallow field

Cleaned up, looking better, got some tornado rash on it, & it's got a nasty tear in the skirt just in frt of the rigging, Dad's son's will fix it, I'll ride it again.

What barn? Well, there was a 28x100 barn there, Brett put mom's car, dad's old diesel & his new Ford diesel in the barn to keep them out of the hail, so, how'd that work out again?

Saturday, what a miserable SOB, with winds predicted from 25-40 mph gusts to 48 mph, the weatherman did not dissapoint
Even with the predicted breeze, Saturdays shooters were up from last years 41. At the 600, I had to pull my baseball cap back down 3 times  twice at the 700
The wind meter read 45-48 mph

Never seen the winds that bad at the Hill.

Sunday the wind was half of the day before, no consulation as they were squirrly as F@#$, had Alissah put 2 1/2 R wind in, & told her this is going to be interesting, try & keep up, crash course on holding off the target, & shoot when I tell you. she got 4 at 600 :D should've had 4 more
Not exactly the time to break out your 13 yr old daughter at her first long, long range contest
