Slowly the wheel has started to move and we are again gathering in Friendship, IN to shoot.
This past weekend, (June 6, and 7), a number of shooters suffering from Social Distancing gathered to shoot a .22 BPCR Silhouette match on Saturday and a special Long Distance .22 BPCR match on Sunday.
The weather cooperated all weekend. Community meals were shared with long time friends in several campsites and a little adult beverage was consumed. Great weekend.
Here are the scores:
This was a normal .22 BPCR match with chickens shot off-hand at 50 yards and the rest prone out to 200 yards.
On Sunday we tried something different. All the .22 targets were shot prone and the distances were increased. Chickens were placed at 100 yds, Pigs on the 150 line, turkeys moved to the 200 yards line and rams were placed on the 300 meter line. Scores were surprisingly strong. Here they are.
We are shooting .22 and big bore on Friday, Sat, and Sunday 26, 27, and 28 June. /Join us.
