NMLRA/NRA Regional Friendship, Indiana

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

NMLRA/NRA Regional Friendship, Indiana

Post by Woody » Wed Aug 19, 2020 7:25 am

Sorry for the delay in posting the results. This is the first chance I've had since I the match.

Friday, 14 August, the rescheduled Regional started. Warm, humid, light switchy winds, and just a little rain. Three classes for the .22 matches. Traditional Scope, Traditional Iron, and Modern. The results are posted below. Great turnout.

It appears master scores were on sale.

I'll post the big bore scores next.

Saturday was warm, humid with a continuation of the light switchy winds. Sunday, a cold front was approaching giving us winds building and falling off with the occasional four to six minute changes, especially in the afternoon. Those that finished on turkeys and rams had their works cut out for them.

Iron scores for Saturday and Sunday are posted below.

Jim Dietlein of Michigan showed us all how it is done. Well done and congrats.

Scope scores follow:

Congrats to Kenny White for his win. He did say something about Paper Patch Rules. I'm not sure what he meant by that.

As you can see we had a great turnout and some close competition. You should have been there.

I sure did. Enjoyed spotting for you. Especially enjoyed the pitch-in dinners we had. No campfires this year, but still I think we solved most of the earth's problems prior to sunrise.

Home again finally. I was only home for a few hours after the Regional before I headed to the UP. Just got home a couple of hours ago. Went to:
https://www.nmlra.org/ to check the calendar to check on the up-coming 1000 yard match and a late scheduled .22 match and found that Lora, our match director, has posted a short write-up and numerous photos of the Regional. Check it out on the NMLRA site.

I did take a couple of pictures while at the Regional last weekend. We had a couple celebs show up and Jim Shride and I had the pleasure to be squadded with them.

Here Grumpy Bear aka: Brian in all his grizzly glamor.

Next is Aviator aka: Steve.

If you attended and took a pic or two, post it.
