2020 Harris Long Range Match

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

2020 Harris Long Range Match

Post by Old-Win » Wed Aug 19, 2020 9:29 am

The GRRC held their second 1000 yd LR Match. The first canceled due to them damned Covid boogers. We started with 13 shooters on Saturday and the match consisted of 4 relays of 15 shots at 1000 yds
Some highlights from Mike T.

Ken Heismann shot a 138-2x, which I understand would be a record if our match was a sanctioned ML match.
Ken was the only ML shooter. He was shooting his Ferris muzzle loader. Everyone else shot cartridge rifles..

Ray Hopkins from Ohio was first with a 470-2x, and Ken Heismann from Kentucky was second with 462-4x, and Ray Hanson from MN was third with 459-5x. Mike Theisen was fourth with a score of 410

The weather was nice, but the conditions were very subtle. I cannot remember a match that had as many short shots in the dirt, especially on Saturday.
Vertical issues were catching everybody, all weekend.

And a good time was had by all.
Outstanding write up with photographs representing the match.
