Raton Silhouette Scores July 2021

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

Raton Silhouette Scores July 2021

Post by desert deuce »

First day of Raton Silhouettes for black powder.

Hear Chip Mate Won Master Class today 51/60 with 11/15 chickens.

Cody Smith and Rick Moritz tied for second 42/60, Cody taking by Chicken Count 9/15 Chickens for second place.

I am guessing, looking at scores, some fairly challenging conditions

Today's scores, hopefully, will be posted here, once received.
However, I am reluctant to post the scores before shooting is complete.

Quite Possibly Cody Smith or Ken Tebbe will post the finals when they get home.

This was one, actually two matches everybody should have attended. the 22 match as usual was well orchestrated by the 22bpcr group, 3 days 60 shot matches with a little rain and hail coming in extremely fast soaking nearly everybody. cleared up a bit and we finished the last relay maybe 45 minutes later. the wonderful resettable targets kept the animals out of the mud so they were still visible. target setters could reset the whole range usually in less than 4 minutes or better.
The bpcr matches were organized in the same fine manner due to the efforts of Ken Tebbe and Cody Smith with help from several of their associates.
Raton has received more rain than normal so the range was nice and green and in excellent condition.
Scores were pretty good but the best part was getting together with old friends and a few new friends.
i believe this showdown is planned again for next year, make this one of the big events on your schedule.

thanks to all the people involved in running the 22 bpcr and bpcr showdown.

i never remember scores etc. but i'm sure there will be details posted soon.

We'll get some scores posted as soon as Ken Tebbe gets home and tidies them up a bit. Shouldn't be more than a couple of days. 5 full days for the competitors and the crew running the matches but I think it is all worth it when it comes off well.

Made it home late last night. Wow! What a week! We truly appreciate all the kind comments and am proud to report the matches were a giant success. Kenny has the spreadsheets of the scores, but I will work on getting a list of the winners out asap.
