Still learning about the different rounds for a sharps. Whats the advantage for of an "Trash Can" round?

1 thing is it will give you a wad cutter type hole. making it easier to see. do not know if there is any other advantage. others will have to answer that.

It looks like a piece of modern art. So maybe a silly question...how do you know when end is 'up'?

the top is top the bottom is base. small end w/ reveal (or what looks like a christmas tree stand.is for tieing to the cart.
