63 Bull Barrel

Post by emito condito »

I just got my New York 63 Carbine back from Shiloh. Had it re-barreled with a 16 lb .54 30" Bull barrel. Shot mostly 1.5 " Hahn tubes. Did some loose powder 80 and 90 grains. Shot pretty good with barrel sights. For me a tang sight will greatly improve my accuracy. There is still slight push but not much recoil. One thing is for certain, that barrel does not lift of the bench rest when firing. Another great job by Shiloh, Thanks.

I'll try... The rifle still has the original stock and saddlering. From the front of the receiver forward is new. I also had the receiver tapped for a tang sight.

I agree, way cool. All that's missing is the cross sticks and a heard of Bison out front....
