heavy bullet accuracy?

Post by Naphtali »

I am interested in results shooters have had using heavy .54-caliber bullets in cavalry and Infantry (or Sporting) 1863s during temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Bullet molds for conicals that are as heavy as 535 grains (Pedersoli's .541-inch with rebated base) are available. But let's define "heavy bullet" as weighing more than 480 grains.
