CCI 6-Wing #0300 Primers

CCI #0300 6-wing primers always worked great in my Shiloh M1863 rifle. As we all know they are no longer being produced by CCI. I have a few left; if I could find a tin or two more, what would be a fair price to pay per 100?
:?

I have 5000+ of these. I bought them when they were cheap/discontinued. I use RWS these days. I do not know what they would go for on the antique market. People I know bought them to light off fake black powder pellets in their muzzle loaders. When the inline 209 primer firearms took over there was no need for super duper hot caps and they were discontinued and deeply discounted. The wingless caps went the same doo-doo bird route. Since caps require a hazmat to ship, and normal people do not have the liecense to ship, this is a local sale only thing. Unless breaking the law is your thing. My advise is to pick up some RWS caps for your 1873 and move on.

I fear you may be stuck with getting a thousand RWS for considerable money. I got a thousand from some outfit called Gamiliel a few years ago, wingless RWS. Bad thing I got rid of my '63 and only have a PH artillery musketoon that I have not shot yet and might never.
I wonder about the legalities of mailing a few to you. Lots of padding in the box, what are the odds? I bet worse things get mailed all the time.

Thanks. You're very generous, but I still have enough to keep a smile on my face for a while. Was just wondering if the cost to find and buy more might be prohibitive. Sounds like I can make due with RWS.

Has anyone tried the Schuetzen musket caps? I saw Powder Inc had them for sale but have never tried them. I wonder how they would compare?

Thank you for an answer. Do they seem as hot as the old CCI 300's or are they like the reenactment 301's? I just don't want to spend a bunch of money buying a quantity of them from Powder Inc and find out there duds like the 301's. I can get the RWS and the 301's off the shelf around here but recently found the Schutzen caps on line
