Not just good... good enough. Managed about a 4in group with my first try. 65gr of Goex FFg. The paper type didn’t seem to matter too much but I did find pieces of copier paper about 55 yards down range so I’ll probably stick with coffee filters or try brown packing paper. Pictured below is a 5 shot group plus one off hand. Was dead center off hand, everything else was hanging out left. All high but it was a 50yd target so for now I’ll call it acceptable until I tighten things up as I do my load work ups. Love the Eras Gone a Richmond bullet though. My last shot of the day went low and obliterated a concrete block.

Now is that 38 to 42 by volume or weight? I was going by weight with my 65. Not sure how folks typically measure for these.

I use Charlie’s tubes I put a newspaper wad to hold powder against the back. Airspace is not a problem.

Ended up with 55 grains of FFg as my best load. Was hitting 2.25 inch groups with it. Still like using the coffee filters best for my cartridges. Nitrided a bunch of them using some stump remover and water. Attached is he best group and a decent shot of my neighbor’s boy getting a shot.
