Don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys. Block tune.

To the tune above, "Don't Let Your Breech Block Drop Past Your Bushing"
My repaired carbine arrived today! The motion to drop the block is now diffilcult, and the lever pin is hard to remove. It seemed as if the block wouldn't drop far enough, as it stopped with the 1/2 of the bouching remaining under the cutting edgr of the gas seal. Then it hit me! (well, a few head knocking hours later) the old worn lever was allowing the block to drop so far as to expose the bouching entirely, thus upon raising it one time the block engaged the bouching and raised enough metal to stop it. Who knows how long this had been occuring before the proplem began. This carbine has had some knocks, by a knucklehead, but ah, I know what to do and look for these days! Can't wait to shoot it fellows, hope it does loosen some though. Just thought I'd share this.
