Removing Gas Check Plate??

Other than using two small screwdrivers in the small slots on the gas check plate to remove it and chance "buggering it up", does anyone make a tool to remove the plate. Per Kirk I have started using "anti sieze" grease on the plate and it helps.

The two screw drivers is the only way I know how. I do however grind and dress them up so they do not leave gouges on things. Kirk

Frank,
I tried an auto anti seize recently on my nipple screw, breech block side screw, (to clean the flash channel) and gas seal. I used it liberally. If you use it, and it seemed to help, use it sparingly, the gray stuff I found to use was quite messy and got on every thing I touched.
I use screw drivers and a knife blade to remove my gas seal. Yes, that thing is a bugger, and if your gun is new, take your time, or it will look like mine (breech block quite worn) in due time.
