Hi
I have the oportunity to purchase the following and have a few questions
Shiloh Sharps 1863 percussion sporting rifle in 54cal with a 30 inch barrel and double set triggers in excellent plus condition. Approx. $730 USD
What do I shoot out of it?
What is accuracy like?
Is the price in the right range?
I know nothing about these rifles, I shoot mainly PRB flinters so any info would be appreciated.
Cheers
Info on rifle please

juano2001,
Jump on it like a dog on a bone! Good price even if you never shoot it you can get your money back plus. There are numerous bullets and loads for the '63 percussion. Most like to assemble the paper cartridge for ease of loading. Much slower paced than the brass cartridge rifle but just as rewarding to shoot. It is the next logical step in the evolution of the rifle from percussion. Very accurate as well.
Good luck,
Bob
