Sebastion,
I participated in that postal shoot, as you know, and I believe that all of us who did shoot, and shot our longest distance at 200 yd., forund we still have much to learn about these "longer" ranges with paper cartridge Sharps. With a 1/18 twist, and the right bullet, seated with a tight, well constructed paper cartridge, YOU may be the one to teach US a thing or two about distances past 200yd. May Shiloh doesn't lesk gas, Ken's (HvyMtl) Pedersoli Berdan doesn't either, though Bob Bayless' Garret '63 did until he being the wizard he was fixed it. in my opinion, don't use a brass cartrdge insert, that was not what they were designed for.
Speaking of the Postal shoot, if you decide upon the '63 you are welcome to join us in the Bob Bayless Memorial shoot this year. Very informal, fun, we few who did learned alot.
Best, Gregg
