Bullet Types

Post by Boom Stick »

Might as well make myself known and start asking questions - I have ordered a 50 calibre sporting model. What type of moulds are you folks using? I plan this mostly as a hunting rifle, but will probably play with some range shooting. Are you using different for huning and target?

Thanks Guys.. Boom Stick

I use a Rapine Christmas tree, ringtail bullet, 490 grains, in my '63 Shiloh 54 caliber carbine. With 50 grains of FFG GOEX and military sights, will keep the shots within a 3" circle at 100 yards. I think Rapine makes a similar mold for the 50 cal. also.
