Ya know I think maybe a 7-08 would make a good kids rifle as well.
I have a .284 I made for sheep hunting and my last moose I killed with it using a 140 grain Nosler partition.
I've used it on Kodiak several times as well for black tails.
Both of your grand kids deer are bigger than any I have ever taken. I think that is sensational for you to be shooting deer with em. Come to think of it I have never taken a white tail, only mule and black tail.

Congrats on being with the youngster on his MO deer hunt. There ain't nothin' better.

Thanks! Yep....lots of our TAX DOLLARS present there!!

But out of all those fancy fighters folks 'oogle' over like the F22 and F16.....nice....but if I ever win the lotto.....I want just a regular old D Model P-47!! Now....THAT'S a REAL PILOTS airplane!! No computers......ya got to fly it from can to can't!! :lol:
