Sling question for 1863 MR

Post by Free_Stater »

I want to add a period correct sling to my Shiloh 1863, but I've been unable to find one anywhere online. Dixie has Enfield and Springfield slings, along with all sorts of others, but I would prefer something that would be the equivalent of what was issued with the Sharps during The War to Suppress Yankee Arrogance. (Hey, I'm still a Southern Boy, y'know?)

Any guidance on this one for me? I won't say that money is no object, but I want quality. Considering the quality of the rifle, I don't want "good enough."

Thanks, snapcap.

I got the sling I wanted from Dell's Leather Works thanks to a helpful member who sent me the link.

I'm putting the Cavalry Shop on my list of suppliers, though. Never can tell when I'll want something else.
