rear sight

Hi all,
I recently ordered my sharps and ordered it with the semi-buckhorn sight on the rear of the barrel. My question is this which sight is better for hunting and mid range shooting the semi buckhorn or the full buckhorn, (eventually I will add a mid range tang sight to my order).
Any info appreciated,

My two cents forth, the semi-buckhorn. I can see more of the target with the semi, with the full buckhorn, the ears get in my way.

My Hartford had the full on it when I first bought it. It didn't take long to have it changed to the semi. The full looks nice but it definetly cuts down a lot of your field of view.
