the rebarrel

Post by powderburner »

i got my rifle back from Shiloh with its new 14 # bull barrel on it in 45-110 and it had to sit while I went to Texas for a week but it is getting a workout now using rdncks load in buffalo arms cases I am allready doing very well with it ,lost a few cases from splits on the reformed brass but not a big deal yet .shooting around an inch and a half at 100 and real clean just like they all said.
The gun is about 12 years old and Shiloh put a new fore end on the barrel at least thats all they said they would do but when it came back the fore end matched even better than the origional and it was a whole lot better lookin then when I sent it off looks like a new rifle . what a great job .THANKS SHILOH Oh by the way the recoil in the bull barrel is very close to the 45-70 with the same wt. bullets and there is more smoke and thunder ....Yes....................Dean
