And yes, like some others have mentioned here, if it wasn't for you well experienced guys being willing to answer what must seem like dumb questions from us new shooters most of us probably would go back to.......smokeless. What an awful thought! Thanks again. TJW

There is a guy at our silhouette match that has a shiloh sharps 45-90.He really wanted a 45-70 but got a good price on gun and loads it like a 70.Point being he loads 70 grains of goex ffg,a .30 wad and no compression. I found this interesting because the guy just moved into master class.

Big Country, what kind of powder is he using. I think all this talk concerns GOEX!
