Picked up the new #3 Sporter today. Semi Fancy wood, case hardened finish and an awsome 16lb bull barrel in 45 2 7/8. Went to the range right after I picked it up and ran some loads through it that I had pre-loaded. Not shooting for groups or anything just to get a feel for it. Was shooting at a reduced ram at 200 yards. Once I got the sight setting was putting them right in there everytime. Had some problems with some Bell brass that wouldn't chamber (I was expecting this with this brass) but the Buffalo Arms stretched worked great. In a word "awsome". That big barrel tames the recoil to what seemed like less than my 45-70. There was a highpower match getting ready to kick off and that big booming cannon got me a lot of attention. I haven't qit smiling since. Thank you Shiloh for another fine gun.
