We tried something different this time at Friendship. Since we were shooting 10 in a rows and finished shooting early, (2 ish), we decided to play a new game.

Seven shooters put up $10 each and set up behind cross sticks. The target was the mini-creedmoor at the ram line. No coaches, one spotter for all shooters.

On command and in turn, each shooter had 30 seconds to fire one shot at the target. Feedback was provided by the spotter via a spotting board. Each shooter fired one sighting shot and five for record, one at a time in turn. Possible was 20.

Bob Johnson won the pot with a 18 with several pushing him hard with 17's.

We will refine the idea and tweak it a little for next month's match. Come on over an play.

Something else to add.

Mark Finney of Kentucky debuted his new MVA scope mounted on his Shiloh. His first scope score was a 28. The next day, Mark repeated that score. I guess he should have sandbagged that first day, because he is now a AAA scope shooter.

Mike Patterson was his spotter.

Good shooting Mark

One minor correction to the scores.

I shot a 28 on Saturday with a scope and a 26 on Sunday with irons.
