From Bill Goodman's web site he notes the model 1877's he has on order are 7+ months out.

There is quite a bit of progress in fact, I have parts going through the moves for 170 pieces. It takes a while on the first go around, setting up, writing procedure sheets, and making the parts right, along with speed.

I heard rumors that the first one sold to the general public was paid for by Mr. Stovall to present to his good friend Steve Rhoades as a token of their friendship.
