We need some details on the rifle, load, and distance(s). Nice deer. Shoot straight, rdnck.

southwest Montana
top and bottom were 2013,14
shot with a long range express 45/70

480 grain montana precision swaging, what they call a spire point, looked like a postell with a small flat, 20 to 1
70 grains of swiss 1.5 mashed like crazy
.030 wad, fed 210 , everything going way to fast
accuracy was better than you would think

middle was 15 shot with a 30 inch #3 45/70
544 grain Brooks creedmoore spg
62 grains swiss 1.5 .1 compression
.030 cci br 1147 fps
much better. You can learn a lot in a year.

That's a heck of a first post and those are some great deer with anything but even cooler with a Sharps and bp loads. A little bragging isn't bad, congratulations.
