Sandhills Outfitters?

Post by Jim VanMiddlesworth »

Does anyone know if Sandhills is operating? I've called them leaving a message and emailed them but get no response.

Rick retired and sold the herd. He is down Arizona right now so you will probably hear from him when he gets home.

Ok, thanks. Any opinions one where else to look? A friend and I are looking for a meat hunt, not a trophy hunt.

Jim, just got home and I see Kurt answered your question. If my webmaster gets busy here and updates our website, we will put a list of buffalo hunting operations up on our old site so our old clients, and others, may find some help in locating some. I can't keep up trying to answer individually anymore. Had around 50 inquiries while I was gone.

Had a great time in cactus land shooting and visiting with Dakota Dick.

Don,

I didn't even bring a rifle, just shot some of Dick's. Not sure I could make a whole shoot when it is that warm. Will have to get over there sometime and see that range. We were at Rio Salado and had a good time. A friend of Dick's is a bench rest shooter and let me shoot his gun. 3 shots at 100 yds under 1/4 moa and all his groups were better than that :) Shot a chicken for the first time using a 45-70 pp. One shot one chicken.........so I quit :) Those darned silhouette targets are little:)
Will be at Alliance in May with Lee.
