Farmingdale Production Date

Post by straightshooter45 »

Wondering if you might have access to the approximate date of production for a Farmingdale NY Shiloh Sharps ser.# 5167. It is a 34" octagon barrel, 1" across flats, in .45 3 1/4". It has a pistol gripped stock with a schnable fore arm.

Will Shiloh make a fore arm with a pewter tip for an already existing rifle?

Thanks

I have a letter from Wolfgang Droege stating that my Business Rifle #1013 was produced in 1978.

Thanks Dennis. Hoping others have letters or other information like you have that would bracket my serial number. Thinking it is maybe 1981 but not sure.

My 45-90 "Farmer" S/N 5811 was ordered in April 1983 from NY address and delivered a year or so later from MT address.
Price $699 + $40 for heavyweight barrel.
