The adventure continues! I called Shiloh today, confirmed the address and the info they wanted, and took my package to the Post office. The woman said, after looking at the address on her computer, that I needed an apt number! I said PO Box? No, she said...some other number...
I told her it was a factory and I had been there at least 10 times and had a tour of the place...trust me...its a factory. But I right away upped my insurance from the $300 the factory reccommended to $500 and the woman said for one more dollar insurance, I would get an absolutely free guaranteed signature on the web on the USPS tracking site. So, after comparing my block to my 45-90 block, which is perfect, I sent it off and we shall see what Shiloh thinks of it.

Next time, tell'm to check their FFL registry to confirm the address.
Here is their address from the Shiloh Rifle site.
https://shilohrifle.com/
PO Box 279
201 Centenial Dr.
Big Timber, MT 59011

FWIW: I will never ID a gun maker in a shipping address-Like putting a steal-me tag on the pkg.

Yeah, I got the address off the website and confirmed it over the phone with Shiloh. I thought it odd that there was a PO box AND street address but I gave Shiloh (Lucinda?) the 201 address and she said yes.

An UPDATE! USPS tracking website says my package was "available for pickup" at the Big Timber Post office at 11:01 AM Friday the 24th and "expected delivery on Friday the 24th by 8 pm". End quote. Nothing after that. This is a mystery. Since I put no PO box number on the Package, why didnt they deliver it to the factory? If there is no mail delivery in Big Timber MT, and everything must go to someone's PO box, then is it sitting at the Post Office in General Delivery waiting for someone to ask for it? We shall see what Monday brings! If no one picks it up there or it is not delivered to the factory, I will call Shiloh and the Post office. Stay tuned.

Don't sweat it Chris, if it's at the Big Timber post office, you'll likely get the new/repaired breechblock in your mail next week or the week following.

LOL! I am just paranoid. USPS just lost a letter to me from my doctor that he is moving to Guam at the end of Sept. I just found out accidently...now I got to get a new doc who will perscribe my meds.... :( Thats it. I am getting on my bike and spending Sept at the Reno National Air races! :D

I am sending a dump truck over from the M and M factory!
This is kind of cool. When a package is delivered, you get an email with the actual signature of the person who picked it up...no more cards to fool with. (I blocked out Phyllis's signature for security reasons)
The texting part did not work, though. :(
