Oak Ridge Match

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

Oak Ridge Match

Post by Kurt »

Got some news from Oak Ridge. It looks like a good match going on with tight scores.

Scores for cartridge and muzzleloaders. 600 yds was VERY sporty, wind wise. Targets are semi traditional SQUARES with a 4 pt max and an X ring. Having a blast.

Tomorrow 2 x 1000. One relay off of sticks and the other is unsupported.

Much easier conditions. First relay at 1000 was off of sticks. Second relay was without support of any type (prone).

Those are some good scores and a good turn out.

It should be noted the top shooter, Ian Egbert was shooting PP in his 45-70.

Ron Walters shoots a .40-70 and also hung in there. Barb his Wife also shoots a .45-70. I looked on Facebook and I missed a good one for sure.
Now that they also shoot breach loaders this puts me into the game.

It was TOUGH!

But we all had a blast. Shooting 1000 without rest or sling is a total trip. I'll be there next year. This is too much fun and the perfect way for me to open the shooting season. Shot okay, but made some mistakes.

Well from your final standing I think what ever problem you had with your rifles is solved. Not a bad finish with having a few errors.

Great match, Ian shot very well, I fell apart at 1000 supported, but shot okay unsupported. Lee Shaver put on a show at 1000, just shows, practice, practice, practice.......
Can't wait for next year, already have had emails from new shooters.
