I have a rifle ordered in 50-70 which I assumed was 50-70 Gov, but upon doing more reading I notice Shiloh provides a "50-70ST", there is zero info on this caliber on the 'net, is it really a 50-70 gov, if not, what are the differences?
Thanks,
50-70ST?

Re: 50-70ST?
.50-70 ST would be correct. I would guess the barrel is probably marked .50 1 3/4”
Real gun powder is black.
