The wait for a rifle or repair is worth the time, I had Kirk fit a set trigger to my single trigger 1874 and the craftsmanship is outstanding!! The insert for the set trigger has an undetectable seam, outstanding work in this day and age of just get it out the door and we will deal with it later. To All the people at Shiloh you have my sincere thank you for the excellent work!!!!

Just got off the phone with Kirk. My rifle is done!
It should ship on Monday. There appears to have been a miscommunication when I was told it would be “sometime next year.”

I apologized to Kirk, as I will to all you. When I got very conflicting info on my last call, I should have got clarification.

Instead I got irritated and when I found this thread I vented without thinking it through. Lesson learned and my beautiful rifle is ready to ship!

I have dreamed of this rifle since the summer of 1989. It will all be worth it in a few days!

W, I also received info that conflicted with previous info and extended my rifle completion. Running a business in the present COVID environment has to be extremely challenging and I accept that good info and good intentions change daily out of everyone’s control. I can’t say that the changing info ever really bothered me; it is just that my excitement bubble bursts when a delay is announced - Shiloh makes just outstanding rifles and i want my new rifle in my possession. I want to hold it, talk to it, touch it, shoot it, clean it, etc. - it is like some street drug - I have been updated to an April (or so) completion and I must say that I am like a little kid - I am excited!

The wait is over. I have got to hold her at long last! Everything I expected and a beautiful tiger striped piece of walnut! Wish it would let me post pictures, even a single picture it says the file is too large.

Resize the pictures to "Small" and it will load several. I'd like to see it!
