That was in Medicine Rocks. The next weekend on The Big Hill I noticed him practicing with it in box stock condition. I asked if he planned to shoot it in the match? He said yes but he hadn't had a chance to try it until today. I walked away thinking I might have a chance to beat him, finally. Nope, the son of a gun shot a 40/40 later the same day. Good shooting Dave.

Paul
Was that actually the match he ended up in a shoot off with another 40/40?
If that's the shoot, Dave actually ended up 43/43 after the shoot off vs. the other dudes, 42/43 & a Savage bolt action, fixed barrel sights, using Kentucky windage & elevation

IIRC :D

He's had more than one perfect score over the years
I don't remember if he's had more than one perfect score in the 22 Rifle match
