New Sharps Day
I was on a motorcycle trip last week when I got a call from my LGS. They had received a parcel from Mr. Goodman with my name on it. I must say that the No. 1 Sporter in .45-90 exceeded my expectations. I look forward to going to the range and expending my daughters' inheritance. I'd like to extend my thanks to all of the people at Shiloh!

Great looking rifle. Is the barrel a 34"?

Re: New Sharps Day
It's a 32" half-octagon heavy barrel. The LGS guys said they had to use a fork lift to get it off the truck but, somehow, I think they were 'joshing.'

Beautiful rifle, but then I zoomed in for a closer look (as I almost always do with amazing Shiloh wood and case hardening).
What is going on inside the trigger lever?

That’s downright purdy! And, a shootin’ machine! I’m jealous of that barrel configuration! The cats’ meow.

Pretty rifle. Enjoy.
Now I'm starting to get antsy. My current order should be around the corner.

Jeff, I'm not sure what you mean about what's going on inside the the trigger lever. Here's a close up:

Dennis Armistead: Sir, you got me! I rode around my local area looking for a suitable place to photograph my new rifle and couldn't find anything suitable. I thought the old log cabin backdrop looked better than the faux-wood on my deck. I intended no offense.

Mike, no offense at all. Don't blame you one bit for for the photo shoot with a great background. Nice looking rifle.
