I know this thread is a couple months old but I figured I would throw this out there if people haven’t heard of it before. I really like using coffee filters for my cartridges. They burn up completely in the chamber and they don’t come apart if you use wet glues. I nitrided them and it wasn’t worth the effort. The brown paper that comes as packing material in Amazon boxes also works very well. I make both the target style rounds (no tail) and the traditional military rounds with the tails. I get good hunting accuracy out of both. I use the Eras Gone bullet mold and it works pretty well. Really easy to roll into a paper cartridge. My carbine likes 55gr FFg with that bullet.
