May 2022 Friendship Results

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

May 2022 Friendship Results

Post by Woody »

This past weekend was the NMLRA Aggregate Match. Two 40 shot matches on Saturday and Sunday, preceded by a 40 shot .22 match on Friday.

Weather on Thursday night threatened high water and heavy winds. No campfire. Friday dawned sunny with very strong winds for the .22 match. Numbers were off but still some impressive scores were posted. Those results are posted below.

Saturday was warm and humid thunderstorms forecast. They held off until the last two relays of the day, but did not adversely affect scores. Of note Jake Stuehrenberg, a new shooter lead the day with a 30 and 4 chickens. He actually hit 5, but it slowly did a 180 degree spin and stayed on the rail. One tough chicken. Also of note, Sandra Pool was on fire at the chicken line. 5 chickens and winning the chicken pool.

Sunday started with heavy clouds and light rain that quit before the match started. The clouds stayed though. The agg was contested tightly with Jason Bass, coached by Jim Shride pressing hard on Woody, coached by Steve Farringer. When the results were finalized Woody finished first overall besting Jason by two.

Yes he did. He made some gutsy wind calls on both days.

No guts, no glory! The Glory Team shows them how it is done at Friendship.

The only way to learn how to shoot in the wind is to shoot in the wind and Aviator does his fair share of that drill.

Now, on to Raton in July where Team Glory can dazzle us with brilliance once again. :D

Looking forward to it. Topped off the fuel tank on the truck today and filled some gas cans for the generator. Finished Blackstone's range box, so I have an excuse to head to KY. I have a delivery to make.

Any idea how many trapdoors we will have on Saturday?

4 but our new shooter bought one last weekend. He won’t be here this weekend but he is getting into the trapdoor game.

I have a couple TD's but they just have the Michigan regulars sight on them. I been looking for a Buffington. I hope to make Friendship and I might use it if the winds aren't to wild. :D
