Does anyone have a Cabin Tree hardness tester and some 63/37 solder bars they could test the hardness on.
I have bars from quite a few sources and I keep coming up with a reading of .069 which is the same as 20-1.
Even my pure tin bars only show .072. same as 10-1.

Re: Hardness testing
My tin bars were .069 and 50/50 was 072.
60/40 was 073. All of them bled down kinda quick also. Had to be right over the tester and read as soon as it stopped.

Re: Hardness testing
Thanks.
I'm just gonna put the tester away and keep on shooting. My 12.5-1 doesn't come up anything like its supposed to by the chart.
