Bob,
Just think on that Mt 1000 it was the .44-90 Bn Shiloh that went straight plus the first sighter on target #3 I had Carolyn get the other box of shells but I only had 18 rounds left so I had to go back using the other box of shells for #4.
Been too long to remember properly what I did or use. :?

Know the feeling on the memory thing. I was shooting next to you on the right. As you know I don't hear well and Carolynn is so soft spoken I don't hear her very often. She spotted your sighter and told you it was a near ctr hit and looked hard at you and said "leave the sights alone" don't mess with them. I heard that and could hard concentrate to shoot my own sighter lol. Bobw

LOL, That's Carolyn. She has no problem bending my ears when I don't listen. :D

Bob,
For correction;
I just pulled out the score sheets and records of the shoots and it was the 2016 Mt 1000 and it was target #4 and I used the .45-2.4 with 82 gr of 2F KIK and the 532gr PJ creedmoor nosed PP for target #4. At the Big Hill I used the 19 twist Shiloh .44-90-BN with 100 gr of 1.5 KIK and the 507 gr KAL Medford PP. :D and only hit 3 on the 500 with it and ran the 1023 !@#$% diamonds :D

I followed Veral Smith's advice and used his lapping kit. It did not help and actually removed the slight choke bore in my barrel. No bueno.
