Yes.

I was hoping to take this home this week and do a little comparison at 8-9-1000, but it looks like it's gonna rain the whole time I'm home.

My Jones money has the blunter nose profile,

Somewhere Dan had posted the min and max dia he thought the nose on the money bullet should be.

Not sure if that ever got saved.

I have noticed over the years that the bullet nose varies with the diameter of the bullet quite a bit. I have an early brooks money at 440 that is a lot blunter than newer bersions at 444 & 446.
Kurt made some good observations on the bullet design evolution. And from my shooting and reading about kennys and others experiances. The pointier bullets do well until the distance lengthens and the velocity drops and the wind gets twitchy.
I think Jim Kluskins was starting to get a handle on it before his untimly death just like Dan T was.
There is no magic bullet but there is a design somewhere down the road that will “get her dun “these two designs are a good start.

IIRC, Dan posted the the tip diameter should be somewhere between 0.5-0.6 times the base diameter. My BACO Kidwell money bullet appears to be on the smaller end; bullets cast from a Paul Jones I borrowed some years ago were toward the upper end.

So nice out today, had to give it one more test.

very light breeze at 4-5 O'clock

Sun was so bright I was seeing two bulls with my glasses on so shot without glasses.

Top three on right were the elliptical bullets with my original Lot of Powder

Bottom left three were the Money bullet with a different lot of Powder.

Shot the three elliptical and then the three money bullets.

1.25" vertical on the Money (1/3 moa)
2 " vertical on the Elliptical (1/2 moa)

I could stretch it out to 10 shots each but then we would just be testing my ability to stay focused, which probably wouldn't happen.

Not enough difference in light winds at this range to see any difference so will probably wait til I can get some longer distances.
