At least I try to be honest.

I have been trying to send a private message. Tried twice, with no luck. So guess I need some thoughts on how to send a private message.

I will admit, I am not a computer person.

HI click on the persons id you wish to send the pm too. That will bring up there profile on that you will find a send private message to click on that and write your message in the box below then go do to send and click send done its that easy hope this helps

So I did get some help on this situation and working on it now. I have quite a bit of things to do today, as the weather is nice.

I need to get this stuff done outside before I can get out to the range again. That is aggravating to have nice weather in Montana now and have to do things before I can go to the range.

I have finally figured it out.

Although I did try to send a message to one member, and did not hear back from him. I sent one about a week ago. And one today.
He may not do private messaging.

When I get inside later I will check if he responded yet.

Hay, did your private message work? I had a similar issue. I'm not sure if it is working or people aren't checking for those.

If you go to the private messages, there is a section that has :
Inbox
Saved messages
Outbox
Sent messages

If there is a number behind the outbox it is messages that were sent but not opened yet.
The sent messages are ones that were sent and opened.
You can click on any of them and see what's there.

( I just clicked on my saved messages and found all my correspondence with DanT I didn't know I still had)

I sent to private messages to one person on here. Still did not get a response. He may not even check his messages.

I will try someone else just to do a test again.

If someone just checks the threads here without logging in, then they wont ever see notices of private messages. I know I often just read posts and unless I try to reply to them I don't even login. So it's possible whoever you're trying to PM is checking in here to read threads, but not logging in to see he has a message.

I get notified by an email when someone PM’s. Makes no difference if I am logged in or logged out.
