I saw some here at home for $10. less but I picked one up. The box they come in has changed color from red to what you see at Midsouth. I loved sone rounds for the .38-50 CPA and I got a lot of misfires. I havent measured the primer cups yet to see if they seat deeper than my old once.

May help everyone when someone on this forum encounters defective anything to post the brand, size and lot number to help others.
Whenever something like this has happened to me the manufacturer replaced the defective product, not so with smokeless bullet makers, if their stuff is defective they move into high gear to cover the problem up rather than fix it.

I have used over 5000 of the type that come in the new box without any problems.

The Lot# for these Federal Gold Medal LP GM150M is B255VU2
I just measured the primer and the hight is .121" .120", .119", 1206", .1183" The diameter is .210" on all 5.
The red box GM150M LP Match hight is .1201",.1205", .120", .1202".120". Diameter .210" for all 5
I have some more loads for the .40-65 and the .38-50 Hep loaded that I will shoot tomorrow if the rain and fog lifts.
