Sitting in a tree or blind is an ambush. Stalking and still hunting is hunting. :D
Emmett doesn't tell his dad to do anything. And he didn't tell him to slow down back when his dad first started hunting. His dad was 12 yrs. old then, so Emmett wasn't even a thought back then.
It was my brother and I who told him to slow down, and tried to reign him in. We had to remind him a couple times a day back then, as he seemed to get excited and forgot. On the other hand Emmett has taken to this hunting thing like he's been doing it for decades. Not a bit of buck fever, or adrenaline showing. I spoke with him soon after he took the do and I could hear his parents and sister in the background more excited than he was about his first deer.

The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
