50+ competitors showed up to contest the 2024 Friendship Regional.
When Friday was over there were five (5) folks with 33 in the 22BPCR match. As usually happens, the winners were determined by chicken count, with Brad Ryan topping everyone with 7 chickens, followed by Don Gutherie and Ian Egbert.
After two days of shooting, the scope winner was Neil Eddington, followed by Michael Rouch and Brian Chilson.
In irons, it was Ian Egbert, followed by Jim Deitlein and Tom Klinger.
Congrats to the winners.

Re: Friendship Regional 22BPCR/BPCR
Ever notice that in a competitor photograph the preponderance of the observers have no clue which face goes with which name unless they already recognize the face? Hmmmm?
Perhaps the bulk of us watching have wondered for quite a long time what some of these prominent posters look like and pleasantly surprised to see that they finally made it to a match.
Also noted: That was May 15th, 18 days ago and no follow up reports of succeeding competitions from some of this same crew. Perplexing or just embarrassment?

What was that old saying about glass houses and rocks?
Or was that shooting refrigerators in glass houses.
Memory escapes me.
